Award winning Filmmaker Terrance Odette began his career producing and directing music TV series & specials, including over 120 music videos. Soon after he began writing, directing and producing feature films (HEATER, SAINT MONICA, SLEEPING DOGS). A true auteur, Odette’s feature films have all played to great critical acclaim (Variety, Village Voice, MacLean’s, Globe & Mail, voted Top-Ten All-Time Canadian Films Vancouver Sun). His films have garnered numerous awards and screenings at film festivals (Sundance, Berlin, TIFF, VIFF, BFI London Film Festival, Mumbai) and toured through out the world, including the honour of the first retrospective of all his feature films in April of 2015 at Regina Public Library.
Odette also enjoys working in television, directing a number of tween based sitcoms (How to Be Indie, Connor Undercover and Annedroids) and occasionally editing feature films for other likeminded filmmaker’s (Ron Mann’s Tales of the Rat Fink and Simonee Chichester’s Along for the Ride). Odette’s fourth feature film FALL stars Michael Murphy (Manhattan, X-Men, Tanner 88) and Cannes prize-winner Best Actress Suzanne Clement (Laurence Anyways, Mommy). FALL received 5 Canadian Screen AwardNominations including Best Picture and Best Actor (Michael Murphy) and a DGC nomination for Best Director. FALL was released in the US release Jan 2017 to continued praise (Variety). OLD PUNKER goes to camera in Spring of 2017, produced by Darius Films (LA, Toronto).
